Barcode Scanning Hardware Technology

Camelot provides barcode scanning capabilities to 3PL warehousing using software integration modules that connect mobile scanning devices to Camelot's warehouse management solutions. We do not provide the scanning hardware. However we work with several mobile scanning hardware technology providers that can assist you with purchasing the correct hardware for your needs.

Camelot has three scanning technologies depending on the requirements of the warehouse. The hardware varies for each mobile scanning type. Below are several recommended mobiles scanners along with the corresponding Camelot scanning technology designated by color.     WIMS = WIMS   MobileLine = MobileLink   EasyScan = EasyScan
System Requirements
  • MobileLink requires an Android OS, plus a modern Internet browser and persistent internet connection. Example: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
  • WIMS requires an installed application that supports VT100 terminal emulation. Example: Velocity by Ivanti or SmartTE by Staylinked
